  8. The specified maximum cable lengths (based on Beldon 9302 cable) are
  9. 1500 feet for the slow baud rate and 500 feet for the fast baud rate.
  10. Star installations requiring longer communications distances can
  11. substitute the 9302 cable with EDC4 cable from Data Set Cable
  12. Company, (DSCC). The maximum cable specifications forthe EDC4
  13. cable are 2500 feet for the slow baud rate and 1000 feet for the
  14. fastbaud rate. The EDC4 cable is comparable in price with the 9302
  15. cable.
